Are you still working on these? Really looking forward to the write-up for Verenestra the Oak Princess when you get around to her. ;-)

  2. Kos says:

Love your work! Really great to see! Do you think you may be able to do the Great Mother and Daragor soon please?

    • AuldDragon says:

Thanks! I’m working on these in order now as it is easier to keep my thoughts coherent, so unfortunately, it will be a while before I get to either Daragor or the Great Mother.

  3. Arnwyn says:

Just letting you know that people not necessarily on Dragonsfoot are watching from afar, so to speak, greatly anticipating the continuing (fantastic) results of your project!

  4. Georgie says:

I’m currently putting together an AD&D campaign for some friends tired of dealing with 3rd edition. I was looking for specialty priests (a la the wonderful trilogy of religion books) and stumbled across you. You had precisely what I was looking for. Thanks for the hard work. I look forward to reading more of your work.

  5. I noticed that under the Aquatic Deities header, you have Ilxendren, but not The Blood Queen. Is there a reason why she’s apparently being excluded?

    • AuldDragon says:

She’s under Miscellaneous Underdark Deities, as Piscaethces. She was named in Drizzt Do’Urden’s Guide to the Underdark and Demihuman Deities. Aboleths aren’t really aquatic creatures, which is why she isn’t under the Aquatic header.

      • That would explain it; while she’s listed as “The Blood Queen” in her (scant) mentions in Demihuman Deities, I don’t have DDGttU (nor 3.5’s Lords of Madness, where she apparently also appears), so I wasn’t aware of her being renamed.

Thanks for the quick reply setting me straight!

  6. I just noticed that Yathaghera, the pegasus demigoddess daughter of Eachthighern (Elves of Evermeet, p. 103) isn’t here. Is that an oversight, or is it because of her circumstances (e.g. stated to have no priesthood and living on Evermeet)?

  7. Brujo says:

Hmmm you have any plans to make a condensed pdf out of all your work? Perhaps even publish it under the ogl cia say lulu.com? I would gladly buy a hardcover copy of this work!

  8. Bardet says:

Currently running a Sea of Fallen Stars campaign, in the Forgotten Realms. It was really cool to find an entry here for Anguileusis! Any chance that you will keep working on this on the future? I was interested in something like these entries for Ilxendren and Panzuriel.
My campaign also features dragon cults from Draconomicon, so I have not enough “thank you” for entries on Hlal and that stuff on Chronepsis. Thanks a lot for this impressive work, discontinued or not.

    • AuldDragon says:

Glad they’ve been beneficial! I’m still working on them, and I have been publishing one a month for a while, so expect another entry in a few days!

  9. This is a minor thing, but I notice that you haven’t included a link to Ilxendren’s entry here on the overview of deities.

  10. Shan Pig says:

    Your work is great!
I’d like to translate your blog articles into chinese. Can I get your permission?

  11. Dreydon Barber says:

Keep at it, I’ve been looking for this kind of information for days now.

  12. Barastir says:

Jeff, have you seen my response on the deities cited in the new “Monderkainen’s Tome of Foes” in the Candlekeep Forum?

    • AuldDragon says:

I did, my reply is on the top of page five in the thread; probably got missed in all the back and forth over Vhaeraun and Eilistraee. :) I was hoping for more, but it was about as I expected (other than the literal dumping of every deity they could think of and the splitting of Muamman and Marthammor). Didn’t sound like there’s much information of interest to me. Thanks again!

    • Barastir says:

Alright, glad I could help anyway!
