Undetailed Gods in Dungeon Magazine

This is the grand list of all the gods I could find in Dungeon magazine (through issue #81, plus a couple other products) who are, essentially, undetailed. Gods of Greyhawk, the Forgotten Realms, or the gods mentioned in Monster Mythology or Legends & Lore are not included. The first section lists the human gods, none of whom I plan to do write-ups for. The second category includes the non-human deities (as well as Abyssal lords and the like); many of these I am considering adding to my project. I may have missed some, to be honest; it was a lot easier reading every adventure when I was only getting one issue every two months!

Shami-Amourae is used in the 3.5E adventure path campaign Savage Tide from Dungeon Magazine. She plays a major role in Dungeon Magazine #148.

Which, from what I’ve read, it seems like they made considerable changes from what was presented in Dungeon #5. Since this project is written from a 2nd edition perspective, AD&D canon overrules 3e or later canon.

  2. Rip says:

Sch’theraqpasst is fully detailed, with 2nd edition AD&D stats, in “The Ecology of the Yuan-ti” in Dragon #151.

Yen-Wang-Yeh is fully detailed in 2nd edition Legends & Lore.

Jizo-Bosatsu was described and statted briefly in Dragon Magazine #13.

The Warlord could be Kibuka, the war god of the Buganda tribe of Central Africa described in Dragon #27.

To some, justice is more important than glory, duty is more important than desire, and goodness is more important than life. The great paladin Klysandral was such a man. But even the sleep of death, at the end of a long lifetime spent battling evil, did not bring peace to Klysandral. During his funeral, the entire Temple of Neheod was dragged by terrible magic into the Nine Hells, along with the soul of Klysandral and score of living mourners! What unearthly motive could be behind this tragedy? Only the bravest, strongest, and most resolute heroes will have the mettle to fing the answer. Along the way, they will meet the enigmatic wizard Emirikol the Chaotic, sail aboard the fiendish ship Demonwing, and finally face the horrific minions and overwhelming terrors of Hell itself.
